First of all, I would like to thank all attendees for showing up. I think we had about 20 people fighting their way through the rainy streets and joining us in Nivelles. Apparently there were a lot of new faces, I guess that means the word is getting around.
The November meeting will take place in Nijvel on monday the 23 rd of November. Thanks to Eric Bariaux we will be able to use the venue at TInSys. The office is in the building of Solvay Entrepreneurs. Rue de l’industrie, 20 – 1400 Nivelles.
The goal of the Developer Spotlight series is, just as the title says, to put a developer from the CocoaHeads Beglium community in the Spotlight. This first article in the series will take a closer look at Bert Timmermans and his fabulous Keypoint iPhone Application.
Plans are being made for the first ‘Real’ CocoaHeads Belgium meeting in October. The date is not set yet, and it will probably take place at the same location as our Founding Meeting thanks to the guys at IBBT.
Due to the success of last years NSConference2009, NSConference 2010 will even be bigger and better. This year the conference will take place from the 31st of January till the 3rd of February 2010 in Wokefield Park, Redding, Berkshire, UK. The conference itself is intended to be a community event. To ensure that everyone gets a chance to meet everyone else, it has intentionally be kept relatively small (although 200 places isn’t that small IMHO).
First of all, I would like to thank all attendees for showing up. We had about 50 people from all over the country joining us on this Founding / Brainstorm Meeting. For those who couldn’t make it, or didn’t know about this initiative, no worries, we will be putting all information online anyway.
